In 1877 Venerable Mary Potter founded the Little Company of Mary in Hyson Green, Nottingham, England.  She desired that many people would join the Sisters in their special mission of prayer for the dying of the world.

Affiliates are those men and women who promise to offer some prayer of their choice each day for those who are dying.

Suggested Prayers:

 

• Eternal Father, by the death of Jesus, save the dying.
• Jesus, by your infinite compassion, show compassion for the dying.
• Loving Spirit of God, have mercy on the dying.
• Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
