Caring for our Common Home

At our 2023 Congregational Chapter, the urgency to Care for our Common Home was an inevitable Call for us from the Future. Naturally, we are moved by the expansive beauty and mystery of creation. The cry of the Earth is synonymous with the cry of the world’s poor ones.

Pilgrimage for the Planet

We are called to live in right relationship with planet Earth and participate in her ongoing flourishing and that of her people. In Laudato Si’, Pope Francis reminds us that “Soil, water, mountains… everything is as it were a caress of God”. (LS 84)
